Calendar Tools is a small collection of Python scripts for working with exported ICS calendars. It helps turn calendar data into focused date ranges, readable event lists, or notes you can reuse elsewhere.
What It Does
- Split an ICS file by a start and end date.
- List events, optionally including dates, times, and locations.
- Format events as Markdown, with optional detail fields.
- Display Markdown-export timestamps in the local timezone or a chosen IANA timezone.
Using It
Run the appropriate script against a local ICS file. The repository README includes commands for each tool and an example using America/Chicago for timezone conversion.
